EXAMS
- The City of Albany is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

A non-refundable application processing fee is usually required for exams. All civil service exam fees will be increased starting with exams posted effective September 1, 2015 onward. Non-uniform and decentralized exam fees will be increased to $20 per exam. Uniform exam fees will be increased to $30 per exam. - Exam fee may be paid online, mailed, or dropped off at Albany City Hall, 24 Eagle Street, Room 301.
If you have a credit card, the exam fee may be paid online by the application deadline. If you do not have a credit card, the exam fee may be mailed, by the application deadline to Albany City Hall, Human Resource Office, 24 Eagle Street, Room 301, Albany, NY 12207. The fee may also be paid by check or money order at the Human Resource Office by the application deadline. All checks and money orders should be made out to "Albany City Treasurer". - Civil service exam schedule:
