NY Local HELPS – No Civil Examinations Required
To assist the City of Albany, the NY Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide (NY HELPS) Local Program allows the city to hire diverse, qualified permanent employees quickly and without examinations for certain titles. City of Albany employees hired under the NY HELPS Program are appointed on a permanent basis. Candidates must meet minimum job qualifications and any other conditions of employment.
Any title with "HELPS" is part of this program.
